Italy coach Nick Mallett made two changes to his team for Sunday's game against England in the second round of the Six Nations.

Former captain Marco Bortolami will win his 78th cap after Carlo Del Fava pulled out of the squad this week because of a knee injury.

The Gloucester lock came on during the second half of last week's 29-11 loss to Ireland and helped rectify Italy's lineout problems.

Italy lost seven of its 19 lineouts, one of which lead directly to Tomas O'Leary's try, while England stole five of Wales' throws during its 30-17 win in its opener.

Andrea Masi was also picked Friday and will take over on the wing from Kaine Robertson.

Italy's try scorer in the defeat at Croke Park drops to the bench.

--- Italy:

Luke McLean, Andrea Masi, Gonzalo Canale, Gonzalo Garcia, Mirco Bergamasco, Craig Gower, Tito Tebaldi; Salvore Perugini, Leonardo Ghiraldini (captain), Martin Castrogiovanni, Marco Bortolami, Quintin Geldenhuys, Josh Sole, Mauro Bergamasco, Alessandro Zanni.

Replacements: Fabio Ongaro, Matias Aguero, Valerio Bernarbo, Paul Derbyshire, Pablo Canavosio, Riccardo Bocchino, Kaine Robertson.
