England will field an unchanged lineup for Saturday's Six Nations meeting with Ireland despite criticism of its dour victory over Italy in the last round.
Jonny Wilkinson, who bore the brunt of criticism which said that the team was unimaginative and reluctant to unleash what should be a potent set of backs, will play at flyhalf if he recovers from the muscle soreness that has hampered him in training.
The Toulon No. 10 took part in light training on Tuesday and should keep his place despite competition from Toby Flood, who was the only unused replacement in England's 17-12 win in Rome.
The only changes announced by manager Martin Johnson on Tuesday were on the replacements' bench.
Hooker Lee Mears, flanker Joe Worsley and versatile back Ben Foden replaces Steve Thompson, Steffon Armitage and prop Matt Mullan against the defending champions at Twickenham.
